    Kara McClure

    MA, AMFT

I help individuals who feel overwhelmed or caught in old patterns find steadiness, connection, and a deeper understanding of their inner world. My approach blends IFS, RCT, guided imagery, and mindfulness practices to support nervous system regulation and emotional clarity. I work especially well with LGBTQIA+ individuals and women, and also support men seeking to better understand their relationships. My goal is for therapy to be collaborative, compassionate, and grounded in your lived experience.

    Katia Galvan

    BA, MS, AMFT

Hello, my name is Katia and I am an Associate Marriage and Family Therapist. I currently hold a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from California State University, Chico where I discovered my love for human perception, biology of sexuality, social dynamics, cognition, ecological psychology, and early models of psychological wellbeing. Later graduating from Valdosta State University with my Masters of Science in Marriage and Family Therapy. My ultimate future aspiration is to obtain a Ph.D. in Clinical Sexology as I believe there is still a huge public stigma around intimacy and sexual health issues. I’ve always been fueled to challenge normative assumptions and advocate for diversity in sexual expression. Today, I specialize in helping clients who may be struggling with communication issues, intimacy concerns, or sexual disconnection within their relationships. In our early sessions, we'll explore these patterns together and create a plan that supports healthier emotional and sexual communication. My work also heavily centers the client through a collaborative approach, spending a significant amount of time listening curiously and intently. I believe therapy works best when you feel genuinely seen, understood, and in control of the process. My role is to help my clients slow down, notice patterns, and make sense of their experiences. Over here we are BIPOC, LGBTQIA+, Neurodivergent, and BDSM Kink conscious and allied.

  • Marina J. Russell

Registered Associate Marriage and Family Therapist Registration # 158885 Supervised by Connie Turnipseed, LMFT# 1131140 Employed by Rhona Nechanicky, LMFT #111439

I work with adolescents, teens, adults, couples, groups, and veterans navigating anxiety, depression, trauma, relationships, or just feeling stuck. I also enjoy working with neurodivergent clients, including those with ADHD and Autism Spectrum Disorder. Therapy with me is practical, collaborative, and creative. I pull from CBT, DBT, trauma work, parts work, somatic techniques, mindfulness, and creative approaches to help clients make sense of what’s going on, build tools that actually work, and feel more like themselves again. My goal? Less “what’s wrong with me?” and more “okay, what do I do with this?”

  • Carly Jacobs-Rueber

Associate Licensed Clinical Social Worker #120844 in the state of California. I am supervised by Jamie Gray, LCSW #27463 and employed by Rhonda Nechanicky, LMFT #111439.

I meet my clients where they are at within the current state of the world, and we work together while exploring skills to grow towards liberating, healing goals.

I work with adolescents and adults. Using a person-oriented approach, I provide dynamic mental health and behavioral support to assist individuals in developing coping skills, problem solving, and building community. I am familiar with: depression, anxiety, mood fluctuations, trauma, LGBTQIA+ experiences, support for gender-affirming care, ADHD, Autism, grief/loss, and life stress.

Transparency and authenticity are two characteristics that define me and my clinical practice. As a queer social worker, I am passionate about using a holistic and anti racist mindset in therapeutical settings while providing empathetic compassion and a safe, non-judgemental space. I'm here to focus on empowering and uplifting you.

I utilize a variety of evidence based practices including Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Solution Focused, and Motivational Interviewing. I incorporate other tools such as Polyvagal and Somatic exercises to support physical, emotional, and mental regulation within dysregulating systems.
